Project Crazy Man

Project Name:                     Crazy Man
Project Manager:               Aspiring Ultra Runner
Project Team Members:  Aspiring Ultra Runner, Spouse, Offspring 1 & 2
Problem/Opportunity:     Late 20's guy who enjoys running and needs a new, healthy, low cost hobby.  However, not only is it way for me to acquire a new hobby, but for readers to hold me accountable for the running goals I have set.  It is also a chance for all to share insight, stories, and other bits of information that might be beneficial or just entertaining.
Project Goal:                       Create an ULTRA RUNNER out of a normal everyday guy who passes his Army Physical Fitness tests in the low 200’s.
Objectives:
1. Complete the 50 mile Rainer to Rustan ultra on 4 June 2011.
2. Avoid serious injury to self.
3. Document training runs, thoughts, and accomplishments using blog and RunningAHEAD.
4. Train in early hours of the morning to avoid conflicts with family time.
5. Create an ultra runner out of a normal everyday guy.
Success Criteria:              Success is defined as a completing the 50 mile Rainer to Rustan ultra on 4 June 2011 or alternate ultra during the course of 2011.  As well as maintaining a blog as an incentive to be held accountable before others for continued running in the future.
